Metal Finishing

Metal finishing processes and techniques are applied at the end of the project, treating surfaces for structural or aesthetic benefits.
This process is meant to deburr, smooth out, reduce roughness, or remove imperfections to get a uniform texture. Another process of finishing uses chemical and mechanical techniques to coat or alter the surface with thin layers of metal. This second process can enlarge metal attributes, improving their resistance to fatigue, stress, corrosion, cracking, fretting, etc.

A variety of factors should be considered when choosing a finishing. From the characteristics of the metal piece to the environment in which it will be used or placed.
